History:-

A young man, exactly in 2001, in his youth begins the first and most difficult step to achieve his hopes, he started with an old excavator (61 Poclain a Tire), he loved using his excavator although it was an old excavator and tiring most of yhe time since there was a lack of projects.

Started to work from ordinary digging (house sewages and foundation).

In 2002 increased confidence to work and be sustained and industrious with difficulties and made the same drive and maintenance of the excavator for 4 years.

In 2004 opened the (locality of Miran) for excavation with 3 excavator, took the work of excavating artesian wells for agricultural purpose of Shahrazour area,

Then evolved into the company organization and a high manpower and heavy machinery with modern and futuristic vision clarified also, developed into MEGA Excavation Company for General contracting and constrction Ltd .

Engineering explosions important part of the work of Mega Co which has extensive expe-rience in this field and successfully execute in many projects like (Project of International Road (Penguen – Sulaymaniyah) , (Quarry of Cement Factory of Taslujah -company of Lafarge) , project of IRALEX cutting hill , Karbala cement Limestone quarry , chamanke oil well …etc.

We have specialized engineers and skilled staff in the engineering explosions following all, the scientific conditions in safety and engineering blasts.

The Explosive Methods

The mass slaughter of blocks with explosives concerns mainly hard rock, the operation is to place the explosives characterized by a strong power in the holes, internal explosion develops gas pressure exceeding a few hundred thousand bars.

During the explosion of the charges, the cracks created by the proliferation of boreholes meet easily and quickly, thus inducing a shift blocks.

In fact, the explosive only reveals the natural cracks of the solid (if very cracked, we get small blocks).

Pre-Blast Planning

The design of the blast shall take into consideration variables that can affect the safety and performance of the blast (i.e., geology, weather patterns, and man-made conditions).

Blast Design

Burden and spacing calculations shall be based on accepted industry standards for blast design.

Calculate the amount of required burden for each borehole, to prevent air blast and fly rock, relative to the holes diameter, face height, rock type, and actual borehole spacing.

Drill logs are necessary in order to prevent fly rock. Fly rock is considered rock that can be projected from a blast and hit persons, structures, or equipment.

The blaster must perform a thorough inventory of all explosive products as soon as possible after the driver arrives on the shot site. The blaster must also perform a thor-ough inventory of all explosive products after the shot is loaded and before leaving the shot site to ensure the amount of explosives utilized in the blast matches the blast report.

It shall be the responsibility of the MB in to predetermine and communicate the needed blast Safety Zone based on the specifics of each blast.

All access routes to the blast area shall be guarded or barricaded to prevent the pas-sage of persons or vehicles.

Guards shall be posted at all entrances to the Safety Zone and have a means of com-municating with the MB Guards should remain in position until the all clear is sounded.

Iron Scrap Recycling:-

Scrap metal is purchased from industrial manufacturers, railroads, auto salvage facilities, metal dealers and individuals. The metal typically comes from obsolete machinery and equipment such as autos, railroad cars, railroad tracks, home appliances and demolition metal from buildings and other obsolete structures. As part of our vertical integration, we also purchase crushed auto bodies from our auto recycling facilities.Tucson-recycling-center

Once the scrap metal arrives at one of our yards, it is processed by sorting, shearing, shredding, baling. This results in metal pieces of a size, density and purity specified by steel mills and foundries for melting and use in the production of new steel and other metal products. Smaller, more homogeneous pieces of processed metal have more value because they are more easily utilized in new metal production.

One of the most efficient ways to process metal is to use shredding systems. A shredder reduces auto bodies, home appliances and other metal into fist-sized pieces in seconds. Shredded material is then carried by conveyor under magnetized drums which attract the ferrous materials and separate them from the nonferrous materials.

Civil Works and Roadways:-

MEGA’s civil group performs all concrete installation in accordance with the American Standard ACI 318. Our personnel are experienced in structural concrete to include sub-grade, on grade, & elevated concrete foundations such as; masonry block, pilings, concrete buildings, building foundations, rotating equipment foundations, tank foundations, and concrete tanks. On projects of adequate size will supply the rock crushers and concrete batch plants necessary to assure quality materials. The installation of these materials are closely monitored through our onsite laboratory and assures compliance with ASTM and ACI standards

As with the civil group, our roadway personnel perform all installations under American standards. MEGA’s has considerable experience with both asphalt and gravel roadways. MEGA’s crushes the road aggregate and batches asphalt onsite through the utilization of our mobile batch plants. MEGA’s also, has the ability to secure the necessary components for batching asphalt locally through the Iraqi government or by importing them from the neighboring countries.

Oil & Gas field:-

MEGA EXCAVATION involved in Gas & oil field through new staff working under our umbrella using our capabilities and facilities in KRG , our company registered in AVL system to involve in MNR tenders, such us storage Tanks, Pipe lines, instrumentation and pump stations

Water and Sewage Water Treatment Plant:-

MEGA EXCAVATION is specializes in the establishment of an integrated water purification projects and waste water treatment plants, including all tanks, holding ponds, purification stations, network designs and implementation. In addition the company has imported various technologies and process equipment to support our WTP/ WWTP facilities from well-known suppliers throughout the international community.

Electrical Systems & Power Generation:-

MEGA’s Electrical & Power Staff have a wide range of experience. They design traditional electrical systems for buildings to include inter-lighting, CCTV, intercoms, and exterior lighting. Our also has the capabilities to design the primary power sources for building compounds through utilization of standalone generator stations (with ring systems) and or links to the national power grid.

Core Drilling works:-

We have qualified core drilling staff to execute Inclined Core Drilling and/Or Vertical Core Drilling for( Limestone and Clay ) using

wire line machine as in equipment list and we are working jointly with HOLTEC company Geology of project area, Cutting and

crashing for the samples, Chemical Analyses, Reserve/ Resource computation of Limestone and Clay deposit by Computer Modelling as

per JORC/ SEMRAC/ UNFC standard OR SURPAC, Mine Design for Limestone and Clay deposit….etc.

2002 – 2006 Majority of works involved in supplying landscaping projects, excavations for water and sewerage projects.

2006 – 2006 Completion of pipe laying and excavation between Dukan and Sulaimania. A total length of 43 KM and project duration was 6 month.

2006 – 2006 Landscaping supply and construction at Jaff Tower in Sulaimania. Project size: 37,500m3 Project Duration of 2month.

2007 – 2007 Landscaping supply and construction at German village 2. Project size: 230,000m3. Project Duration of 100 days.

2011 – 2011 Excavation of Salim Street underpass for KAT Company, Project size of 260,000m3, duration of 80days.

Chamanke Oil Well in Atrish (Duhok ):-

2016 – Current Commencement Chamanke Oil Well in Atrish (Duhok ) : working with TAQA and Nashwan company blasting and drilling for blasting and order explosives blasting .

PENJWEN INTERNATIONAL ROAD:-

2012 – 2015 of two way road between Penjwan and Saydsdiq. Works involved cutting 1,100,000m3 including explosives finishing 8 months before the end of the period .

PENJWEN INTERNATIONAL ROAD: It’s a process of excavating the mountain in the KANY SPEKA between Said Sadiq – Penjwen, with along 980 m and 52 m high workstarted at dec.2013 end in apr . 2015

Gasin Cement Plant:-

2013-2013 Cutting/filling for access road to Manufactory Cement Plant at Gasin. Project size: 170,000m3 and order all construction materials.

IRALEX:-

2014 – 2015 IRALEX project: It’s a process of cutting the hill in the Arbat a volume of 1,600,000 m3 for Faruk Holding Group and order all construction materials .

Kurdish Twin Towers:-

2014 ( 5 month ) Kurdish Twin Towers: It’s a process of excavating the foundation of the project with depth 25 m on 2000m2 area . Kurd Twin Towers Project Area of Working = 5400 m2 Quantity of Excavation = 123000 m3 and order all construction materials .
